Now you can give your cat or dog easy access to your home with the ingenious Patio Pet Door. The self-contained panel pops into the track of your sliding glass or sliding screen door, providing you with an instant pet door.

It locks in place through a self-adjusting spring-loaded top section, and doesn't interfere with your sliding door.

The door is made of a high quality aluminium construction, and the panel is made of tempered safety glass. The flap is dog friendly, being soft and flexible, and it comes with a lock-out slide that can keep your pet inside or outside the house. The cat version comes in a 4-way locking mechansim, with a virtually unbreakable flap.

All the Patio Pet Doors come with a limited lifetime warranty.

The door comes in a quality brushed aluminium finish, and some models are also available in powder coat white.

Secure - The Patio Pet Door is completely secure and can't be removed from the outside. It comes with a security pin lock. Alternatively the door can be secured with a patio bolt available from hardware stores.

Easy to Install - The Patio Pet door can be installed in minutes. You won't need any tools, unless you decide to install the optional pin-lock.

Fits any size pet - Whether you have a kitten or a Rottweiler or a Great Dane, there is a Pet Patio Door designed to suit your pet.

Take it anywhere - There's no need to modify your door, or cut any glass. Better yet, you can take the Patio Pet Door with you when you move.

Fits any size door - the standard size fits sliding doors between 1980 - 2102mm in height. There are tall door options, and short door options. In addition, Pig In Mud can supply extensions to fit any size door.

Screen door or sliding door track - the Patio Pet Door can be put in the sliding glass door track in winter, and in summer it can be popped into the screen door track - it is up to you!

Prices for the pet patio door depend on the size of the flap and whether it is a special item. Prices are set by the retail store, and not by Pig in Mud. Most standard doors sell in the range $300-$400. Tall and short doors, and doors with special rises, heights or colours are provided at an additional cost. Please check your store for prices in your area.

Cat Patio Doors - Special Height Doors ( 4 items )

These are cat patio doors (both standard and large cat) that are designed for door heights that are either very tall or very short.

The tall door options are for door heights over 2380 mm, whilst the short door option is for doors between 1900 mm and 1990 mm.

These doors are special items and cost approximately $150 more than the standard door heights. They are onbly available in the Mill Silver Finish.
Dog Patio Doors - Special Height Doors ( 9 items )

These are special door heights for either tall doors or for short doors.

The tall doors are between 2380 mm and 2450 mm tall, and the short doors are between 1900 mm and 1970 mm tall.

These doors only come in the Mill Silver Finish and are typically $150 additional cost over and above the equivalent standard height door range.

Cat Patio Doors ( 2 items )

Cat door insert panels for sliding glass doors with flaps designed specially for cats. The doors have four way lockable flaps made of unbreakable Lexan. There are two sizes available - one for standard cats, and one for large cats. The doors come in a standard height to fit the inside door frames of 1980mm to 2102mm.
These doors can only be purchased through our participating pet and hardware stores.

Dog Patio Doors ( 8 items )

Patio door inserts that have soft, flexible flaps designed especially to be dog friendly. The doors come with a lock-in slide, and a floating magnetic seal that ensures the flap shuts every time. This list is for doors that are the standard height, with the door having a spring loaded top section suiting door frames between 1980mm to 2102mm. (This is our new standard height - if you require a slightly smaller door height we may have some of the old stock left - please check with us!)
