About Pig in Mud ...

Pig In Mud is a family owned, Australian company, based in Sydney Australia. We operate a substantial modern warehouse facility in Caringbah, from which we distribute products throughout Australia and New Zealand. Pig in Mud primarily support a large network of retailers who sell our products, but during the introduction of new products we also sell on-line for a limited time.

The inspiration for the product line began with the Ideal Pet Patio Door.  One of our dogs, Morgan, held dual citizenship with the US and Australia, and she first discovered the Patio Door on an extended holiday in America.  With the cooperation of Qantas, Morgan was able to bring the door home with her.  The door has since withstood many years of abuse, with Morgan and her cohort Ralph barreling through it at 90kph whenever they sense "the need for speed", or as Ralph would say, "anytime I sense a varmint running amuck in the yard."

Pictured here are Ralph and Morgan in one of their more "reflective" moods.  Sadly Morgan passed away recently, and she is missed by everyone associated with Pig in Mud.

A new rescue dog, Kora, has now joined the group and she can be seen below, guarding one of the Pig in Mud vans.

From the concept of the Patio Door, we extended the product range to a collection of products that fit the theme of ' 'PRODUCTS THAT PLEASE'.

To be considered a Pig In Mud product, specific criteria must be met.  The item must be:

• Very high quality

• A solution to a need, making life easier and more enjoyable

• Not currently offered, or otherwise hard to obtain
