Step 1:  Apply Foam Bumper Seal (included) to the top and bottom edge of Sash Window Pet Door

Step 2:  Raise sash window pane and place pet door assembly between window sill and open window; lower the window pane until it touches down onto the pet door assembly

Step 3:  Release the spring loaded end spacer knobs, allowing the panel to be fully extended; hand-tighten knobs to lock ends into position

Step 4:  Apply Vinyl Draft Stopper (included) along top edge of the lower window

Security:  The Sash Window Pet Door panel locks into the existing sash window track, and can only be removed from the inside. In addition, it comes with a window pin to allow the window to be locked in place. Detailed instructions for placement and installation of the pin lock are included with the pet door. Installation of the window pin lock requires a drill and a Phillips screwdriver.
