Pig In Mud is a family owned, Australian company, and is the culmination of two years' planning and scheming.  The inspiration for the product line began with the Ideal Pet Patio Door.  One of our dogs, Morgan, holds dual citizenship with the US and Australia, and she first discovered the Patio Door on an extended holiday in America.  With the cooperation of Qantas, Morgan was able to bring the door home with her.  The door has since withstood two years of abuse, with Morgan and her cohort Ralph barreling through it at 90kph whenever they sense "the need for speed", or as Ralph would say, "anytime I sense a varmint running amuck in the yard."

Pictured here are Ralph and Morgan in one of their more "reflective" moods.  Soon we'll publish pictures of them making full use of the Patio Door (as soon as we can get   a video camera that is quick enough to capture them!).

From the concept of the Patio Door, we began to amass ideas for a collection of products that fit the theme of PRODUCTS THAT PLEASE. To be considered a Pig In Mud product, specific criteria must be met.  The item must be:
